Isabella is now smiling! I know it doesn't sound like much, but it really is an interesting part of the growth process. Newborns are very unresponsive at first. So, for the past two months she has progressed from not even being able to focus on us, to smiling in response to us. It's a wonderful thing to see your daughter smile for the first time. It took me a while to finally snap some photos of her smiling. I kept forgetting to get the camera or I just wasn't quick enough to catch it. Luigi has a nack for getting her to smile. He makes silly noises at her and she smiles and sometimes even coos or squeels. It is quite a site. Here are some pictures of her beautiful smile.
